The 1361-litre Vaccine & Pharmacy Refrigerator with electronic controller is purpose-built to store vaccines and refrigerated medicines between +2°C and +8°C and has been independently tested in accordance with “Strive for 5” guidelines and the Quality Care Pharmacy Program (QCPP) Standard. 

Precise Temperature Control - The electronic controller allows users to set temperature to 1/10°C accuracy using the membrane keypad and digital display.  Factory set temperatures are as follows: fridge 5°C, freezer -20°C and ULT -80°C. 

Integrated Alarm System - Audible and visual alarms alert users of temperature breaches, power failure and when door is ajar for more than 1 minute.

Integrated Data Memory - The electronic controller has an integrated data memory to log and store minimum and maximum temperature as well as last 3 alarm events.

QCCPP Compliant - LKPv 1423, LKPv 6523, LKv 5710, LKv 3913/0 and LKUv 1613/10 have been independently tested in accordance with the “Strive for 5” Guidelines and the QCPP Standard which requires temperatures to be stable between +2°C and +8°C.

Max Temp Consistency - Forced-air cooling system and highly efficient compressor ensures temperature uniformity and fast temperature recovery after door openings.

Physical & Keypad Locks - A physical lock protects against unauthorised access and keypad lock prevents temperature and alarm setting changes without a passcode.

Volt-Free Alarm Contact - Liebherr Biomedical Fridges and Freezers are equipped with a volt-free alarm contact for alarm forwarding to remote monitoring systems.

Factory Tested to EN60068-3 - Liebherr Biomedical Fridges and Freezers are factory tested to EN 60068-3 for optimal temperature stability and consistency.

1-Point Calibration - 1-point calibration function permits compensation between set temperature and the actual internal temperature for accurate temperature control.

Hot-Gas Defrost Cycle - An innovative hot-gas defrost cycle in the LKPv, LGPv and LGv models allows the units to defrost less often and faster. Refrigerators defrost in only 8 minutes while freezers in 12 minutes. Before defrosting, the internal temperature is slightly lowered so the temperature remains fairly constant during the cycle.
